The gazebo at Schick park is covered in new graffiti. The same is seen on usps transfer boxes in the area as well. I have been told that this graffiti might have been done by kids grieving the death of the young man who overdosed last year. I hope that efforts can be made to reach out to these young people to address their grief in a more positive way. (There is also a rumor that the recent stabbing in Amory was in retaliation. If that is true then these young people are certainly in emotional crisis. Please get them the help they need. Thank you.
