Damaged Sign at Beacon St

CLOSED The signs were donated to the Town of Brookline, MA by the Brookline Chamber of Commerce. Brookline was established in 1630 as the Muddy River portion of Boston. It was incorporated in 1705. The 1630 date is used on all official town seals and was chosen by the Chamber of Commerce for that reason. - about 12 years ago #1366

Brookline was founded in 1705. This sign at the Brookline border indicates otherwise; 1630. That's Boston's founding year. Please correct. There are three locations of these signs: 1. 1002 Beacon St. (St. Mary's) 2. Beacon St at the Cleveland Circle line by the CVS/pharmacy 3. At the Hammond Pond Parkway entrance into Brookline from Newton.
