I've called the Department of Public Works 15 times, leaving messages for numerous people there. The street outside a daycare is usually snow ridden, and yesterday my son slipped on the ice. Parents often carrying children have to scale snow banks to get to the sidewalk. I've driven by public schools and this is a completely different scene. While I understand that day cares are private, I would think the town would actually care about protecting little children. Does someone need to seriously get injured and have to sue Brookline for this to be taken care of?
