The amount of overflowing trash cans at the Emerald Necklace (33 Pond Ave opening and further down) is disgusting. Trash is ending up all over the ground and will end up in the water. This area is going to be infested with rodents. I spoke with a town parks employee and his response was "it's summer time and they get full" to me this is an unacceptable response. I have 7 other photos that I can show with trash overflowing. Brookline needs to step it up or we will have a rodent problem in our town.
