National Grid van, plate # R29310 parked on sidewalk--completely blocked the sidewalk--at 8:25 am on Tuesday, 5/16/17. Dangerous situation requiring pedestrians (students walking to high school and me with two children in a double stroller) to walk in the street, or cross Tappan street in a non-crosswalk area. The van had moved by 9:00 am, but as the weather gets warmer more and more landscaping trucks and utility trucks are blocking sidewalks to the point of requiring pedestrians to walk in the street. I don't know what the solution is, and I am not requesting specific action at this time. I'm just a frustrated pedestrian.
