Sidewalk Repair at 87 Bonad Rd, West Roxbury
A cable was dislodged by a Brookline public works truck doing repair work on the street a month ago. It is now dangling onto the side walk in front of my home at 83 Bonad Rd. and is caught in a tree, dangling at a level low enough that my children can touch it from our front steps. This is an old cable left over from a previous owner. No cable company will come and remove it, saying that it is not theirs. The cable could get caught in a bicycle wheel, car wheel, or someone could easily trip over it. It is a safety hazard. Please remove it.
