Public Trees at 119 Wallis Rd, Chestnut Hill
The town tree in front of my property at 119 Wallis poses a significant safety hazard. The tree continually drops sap over the entire front area of the house and vehicles in the driveway and now is infested with yellow jackets. The yellow jackets are forging on the sap falling from the tree and we cannot safely leave the front door and get into our vehicles without being attacked by the yellow jackets. I contacted an exterminator to come to the house to rectify the problem. He informed us that there is nothing they can do to help us and that we need to remove the source of the problem which is the tree. In addition to the safety issue my son has a Bee allergy which makes the situation even more urgent. I need prompt attention to this matter before somebody gets hurt or worse.
