We do not know the whole story and I doubt it was that bad. Animal control is run by the police. It is not a crime nor do we need actual police officers at parks.

Park Playground at Pierce School, 50 School St, Brookline 02446

The Pierce Park basketball court is open to traffic, if for example, someone was chasing a ball into the street. 60 years ago I witnessed a young boy get hit by a car in similar circumstances .

The big steep slide on the hill at Pierce playground is not safe. Both me and my daughter were injured on it with ripped clothes and skin. It’s too steep and fast and need more protection at the base

Summit Park by exercise equipment - Japanese Knotweed and Common Mugwort have invaded the shrub bed. I pulled what I could. It appears to have established last year, based on older crowns & off shoots

Park Playground at Billy Ward Playground, 133 Brook St

Drinking fountain on the upper level of Billy Ward keeps getting stuck in the "on" position. You have to explicitly pull the button back out to stop it.
