The Highway Division is committed to maintaining and repairing sidewalks to improve the safety and accessibility of our community. Work Order #WO-217246 has already been assigned for this location, and the repair is included on our priority list. However, please note that the sidewalk repair does not include removal of the tree. This matter has been discussed several times with the Forestry Division, and they have evaluated the tree and determined that it is healthy. Therefore, the sidewalk repair will consist of removing the cracked and damaged asphalt and replacing it with new asphalt. Because the tree and its roots will remain in place, this repair may not completely eliminate the raised area caused by the roots. -
